The Great Canadian Giving ChallengePosted on June 1, 2017 | Written by Forum
I invite you, Friends of Forum, to take part in the Great Canadian Giving Challenge, a national contest with a grand prize of $10,000 awarded to a winning Canadian charity.
Every dollar donated to our registered charity (Foundation for the Study of Processes of Government in Canada) during the month of June will enter us to win $10,000. A $20-dollar donation gives us TWENTY chances to win!
Your donation will enable us to empower youth leaders across our nation to create impact in their communities.
With your help we can reach more students and enhance their learning by creating a new bursary to fund student initiatives in their communities. To take identified youth priorities beyond Forum, to challenge and motivate youth leaders to turn their ideas into meaningful action with a goal to create a ripple effect that would continue giving – long after the Great Canadian Giving Challenge has ended on June 30th and long after their Forum Experience.
Currently, NINE Members of Parliament; Mélanie Joly, Minister of Canadian Heritage, and Karina Gould, Minister of Democratic Institutions are just some of the more than 20,000 alumni of the Forum.
If we win the $10,000, we will run a contest called The Great Canadian Forum Challenge during the 2018 sessions. We will ask student participants to submit their ideas and project proposals and award 5 winning prizes of $2,000 each. Initiatives will inspire and engage other youth and community members in building awareness and greater understanding of Canada; its regions, its languages, its diversity, its politics, its history, and its people.
Will you join me to make this happen? Click here and donate today!
