At-a-Glance
- What: Forum for Young Canadians National Summit (Ottawa)
- Who: Youth from across Canada aged 15–18 at the time of Summit
- When: February–March 2026 (three week-long cohorts)

- Cost: $995 to help offset the cost of meals, transportation, and accommodation for the week. Bursaries are available to ensure cost is not a barrier to participation. No payment is required unless accepted.

The Forum will be held over three week-long sessions in Ottawa, with 100 youth attending each session for a total of 300 participants:

Who Should Apply
Motivated teens (15–18) who are curious about how Canada works, eager to meet decision-makers, and ready to bring ideas back to their schools and communities. No prior experience required.

I wanted to share this great opportunity from the Rideau Hall Foundation. Applications are now open for the 2026 Forum for Young Canadians National Summit, a week-long program in Ottawa that brings together youth (ages 15–18) from across the country.
Forum offers participants the chance to go behind the scenes on Parliament Hill, take part in workshops and political simulations, and connect with peers from every region of Canada. The 2026 sessions will take place on February 8-13, March 8-13, and March 29–April 3, 2026.
